A year later in October 2023 Marli was found guilty of DWI and sentenced to 60 days in jail. The jail sentence was suspended on condition Marli serve unsupervised probation for 24 months, complete 24 hours of community service, and complete an alcohol assessment treatment course.
Marli also had to surrender her driver’s license for a brief time and pay a $393 fine. Marli immigrated from Brazil and has been in the United States for several years. Marli owns a small interior house cleaning business.
Many of her clients are in high priced neighborhoods.
