Alex Brown, 29, was shot and killed outside his mother’s home in Louisa, VA on May 9, 2023 after winning custody of his 2 children. David Branham, 36, is accused of murdering Alex. David is the boyfriend of Alex’s ex-wife.
Alex was in court on May 9th for a custody hearing. The judge awarded Alex full custody of his 2 kids. Alex was with family and friends during the hearing.
Alex and his family went to his mother’s house after the hearing. It was at his mother’s house where Alex was murdered.
David is accused of following Alex from court and shooting Alex multiple times in the mother’s front yard. Alex died at the scene.
David was later arrested and charged with murder.
