Donovan Davis, 34, was arrested on August 25, 2026 accused of murdering Bradley Reid, 37. The victim was murdered in Charlotte, NC at a car dealership. Donovan was already in a Virginia prison when he was arrested. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
On February 9, 2026 Bradley was at a car dealership with a friend on Atando Ave. A vehicle drove up and shot Bradley multiple times and then fled. Atando Ave has been the scene for many murders, even at strip clubs.
Bradley sustained life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. On February 10, 2026 Bradley died at the hospital from the shooting.
Donovan was sentenced to a Virginia prison in March 2026 on a separate unrelated charge. In August 2026 detectives analyzed that Donovan was responsible for Bradley’s murder according to court documents. Click here to see more car dealership articles.
In August 2026 Donovan was in prison when he was served with the murder warrants regarding Bradley’s murder. Donovan will now be extradited to Mecklenburg County to face the murder charge, while serving his prison sentence on the unrelated charges concurrently. Bradley had 4 kids.
