Watch as rapper TI son King Harris gets arrested for speeding and not getting out of car during traffic stop
King Harris, 21, is the son of the famous rapper TI. King was arrested on April 12, 2026 in Gwinnett County, GA right outside of Atlanta. King was arrested after a high speed traffic stop while he was driving a camouflage Tesla Cyber Truck.
The officer observed the Tesla Cybertruck speeding going 80 mph in a 45 mph zone. King had just come back from Japan, he was participating in a costume cartoon go cart competition.

King was pulled over and stated he did not realize how fast he was going. During the stop, a handgun was observed in plain view on the dashboard.
Due to the firearm being within the driver’s immediate reach, the cop told King to step out of the vehicle so the officer could safely complete the traffic stop and address the observed traffic violations.
King refused multiple times and he even called his attorney, his lawyer told him that he had to get out of the car.
The cop then arrested King for obstruction and speeding. King’s attorney called the rapper TI to the scene of the arrest. TI showed up and asked the cop if it was necessary to arrest his son.
The cop said the arrest was necessary. While at the jail, a pill identified as oxycodone, a Schedule II controlled substance, was found on King leading to a charge of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
