Frank Dent lost his memory and could not walk after he was hit by a car while on foot on West Sugar Creek
Frank Dent, 64, died on May 27, 2026 in Charlotte, NC after getting hit by a car in a hit and run crash on West Sugar Creek. Frank was a grandfather.
The crash was in August 2025. Frank was waiting at the bus stop on West Sugar Creek trying to get to work. A vehicle driver was not paying attention and ran off the road and into Frank hitting him head on.
Frank was knocked into the air and landed on the asphalt. As expected in the high crime area, the vehicle drove off and never stopped. The driver still has not been arrested. West Sugar Creek is a terrible area filled with crime and criminals.
The crash put Frank in a coma for months. Frank loss his memory and was in a wheelchair. Frank was recovering for a little while, but sadly on May 27, 2026 he died nearly a year after the car accident.
