ARREST MADE AFTER MAN KILLED IN HOMICIDE

A shooting took the life of Odell Davis in west Charlotte

Odell Davis, 50, was murdered on May 17, 2026 on Paw Club Drive Charlotte, NC. Lionel Smith, 43, was arrested charged with murdering Odell.

Lionel Smith and Odell Davis

Odell was shot several times on a residential street during a confrontation. Odell died on the scene.

Lionel was arrested charged with murder and gun by felon.
