A teen girl was killed during a alleged rape in Charlotte
Isabella Stroupe, 19, was murdered on May 1, 2026 at a home on Yateswood Drive Charlotte, NC. Thomaz Hamilton, 24, is accused of murdering and raping Isabella.
Isabella went to Thomaz’s apartment in east Charlotte on Yateswood Dr. Thomaz is accused of raping Isabella and killing her. Thomaz or someone else at the apartment called 911 when Isabella was unconscious.
Cops arrived and found Isabella unresponsive. Isabella was pronounced deceased on the scene.
It took cops days later to determine that the death was a homicide and rape after consulting with the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner’s office.
Thomaz was arrested charged with murder and rape on May 5, 2026.
