Video shows the moments a man ran through Secret Service and fired shots at President Donald Trump
On April 25, 2026 a man nearly shot and killed President Donald Trump at the White House Corespondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. at the Washington Hilton Hotel.
Video shows the suspect entering the Hilton Hotel lobby and running through Secret Service security. The male suspect was from California and began firing shots towards the ball room where Trump was.
A Secret Service officer was shot during the shooting, but had on a bullet proof vest for protection. The shot officer was taken to the hospital and survived.
Trump and his wife Melania are seen startled as the gunshots erupt. Secret Service guards move in to remove the president and first lady to safety. Trump was not shot.
Attendees were seen ducking for cover. The suspect was apprehended by Secret Service on scene. This is not the first assassination attempt on Donald Trump, it appears that a lot of people do not like him.
A teenager tried killing Trump in summer 2024, he shot Trump in the ear and was only inches away from shooting Trump in the head and killing him. Also a few weeks after that ordeal, a man tried killing Trump at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
