A gun was pulled during family move night at Birkdale Village in Huntersville

On April 11, 2026 38-year-old James Harrison was arrested accused of pointing a gun at a male victim and threatening to kill people at North Italia restaurant inside the Birkdale Village complex during family movie night. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

James was at the restaurant when he and another man accidentally bumped into each other. James is accused of getting angry and pulling out a gun pointing it at people.

James is accused of threatening to kill multiple people at Birkdale Village too.

Over 100 families with children were at the movie night. James was arrested and charged with assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats.
