Pastor James Easley was shot during a quintuple shooting in Riviera Beach, FL where 5 people were shot during a carjacking on March 17, 2026. Two people were killed. Pastor James is the senior pastor at The Life Center in Florida. Two people were killed in the shooting. Tramonte Terrell Gibson, 20, is the suspect.
Tramonte walked into traffic and began shooting at people. Pastor Easley was in a fully decked out luxury Mercedes Benz SUV.

2 people were killed in the shooting. Tramonte then threw the pastor out of the SUV and stole it, driving off. The pastor survived and is in critical care at the hospital.
Tramonte was later arrested charged with murder and attempted murder. Tramonte said he was trying to kill demons during police interrogation.
