Watch as the murder victim’s family attacked the young suspect in court, the suspect was tasered and screamed
A fight broke out at the Mecklenburg County Court building in Charlotte, NC on February 19, 2026. The fight involved murder suspect Marion McKnight, 21, and Shaheem Snype, 47, right before a court session. Shaheem is the relative of murdered victim Jamariyae Dixon, 16. Jamariyae was murdered in a triple shooting that happened on Memorial Day weekend May 23, 2025 on Stroud Park Court in Charlotte, NC. 3 teenage victims were shot. The teen victims were rushed to the hospital.
A online WEBX session in Mecklenburg County Court was hacked with pornography and racism months ago.
On May 27, 2025 Jamariyae died at the hospital from the shooting. Marion was later arrested charged with murder and other shots fired offenses.
Marion was let out of jail on bond and that angered the family of the victim. The family of Jamariyae then went to a court session on February 19th and confronted Marion right before a court hearing.
Marion was sitting on a bench wearing a black ankle monitor waiting to go inside a courtroom. Shaheem then violently attacks Marion, kicking him and hitting him in the face. Shaheem is a very large black male standing at 6 foot 2 inches tall. A female family member is heard instigating the fight and using racial slurs saying,
“you killed my mother fucking nephew, yea nigga”
Marion is seen trying to run away, but he slips on the floor and gets barrelled by more hits from Shaheem. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s deputies were too slow to the scene, as the victim had already been battered and bruised multiple times.
An attorney in court got to the scene faster than the deputies. Shaheem was finally tasered by deputies while he was already on the ground. Shaheem can be heard screaming as he is tasered. Shaheem is also heard saying, “I came here to do what I was suppose to do.”
Shaheem was arrested charged with assault inflict serious injury. The Mecklenburg County Court and the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Department can be sued by Marion since he was not properly protected on court grounds. Hence he was brutally beaten for multiple seconds without any court security or sheriff’s deputies coming to his aid.
Marion was hurt so bad that he had to be hospitalized after the attack.
