19-year-old Brandon Cortez Morris was arrested on February 1, 2026, after 4 people were shot and 2 people were murdered in a shooting on Fairington Drive Concord, NC. The quadruple shooting and double homicide was on February 1, 2026. 22-year-old Michael Overstreet and 19-year-old Kemauri Blount were killed. Just last week 2 other people were murdered in Concord. At 11:08 p.m. four victims were shot in a massive quadruple shooting. Within the shooting, Michael and Kemauri were shot and pronounced deceased at the scene. The other victims were transported to the hospital by EMS.
Brandon was arrested accused of the quadruple shooting and double murder. He is charged with two counts of first degree murder, one count of armed robbery, and two counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property. He is currently being held in the Cabarrus County Jail on no bond.
Douglas Byers and another victim were killed in a double murder last week in Concord.
Video shows a quadruple shooting also occurred in Concord at the Christmas concert in 2025.
