Concord is getting bad. Douglas Byers was murdered in a double homicide, a teen was arrested
Raheem Glascoe, 16, is charged with a double murder that occurred on January 26, 2026 on Kite Court NE in Concord, NC. Douglas Byers and another victim were killed.
Douglas was in a vehicle when he and another victim were shot dead. One victim was shot in the chest while the other victim was shot in the head. Both victims died from the shooting.
On February 2, 2026 Raheem turned himself in and was arrested charged with double murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Video of a quadruple shooting occurred in Concord at a Christmas concert in 2025.
