2 CHARGED WITH MURDERING MAN IN CHARLOTTE

Suspects are in jail after being arrested on murder charges

Zacariya Smith, 19, and Malik Rose, 24, are accused of murdering Graham Bennett, 31, in Charlotte, NC. The suspects were both arrested on January 20, 2026. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Zacariya Smith, Graham Bennett, and Malik Rose

Graham was murdered in a shooting on October 18, 2025 on Park Fairfax Drive. Graham was shot in the afternoon and he died on scene.

Months later on Jan. 20th Zacariya and Malik were arrested charged with murder, robbery, and conspiracy.
