A 3-year-old kid was burned in personal areas, assaulted, and murdered by his dad’s girlfriend, kid’s real mom was in jail
Dominica Mosby, 29, is charged with murdering her boyfriend’s son. The child victim’s name is Kevin Horton he was just 3 years old. The murder was in Memphis, TN on November 15, 2025. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Dominica was babysitting Kevin when he urinated on the floor. Kevin’s real mother was in jail. Dominica is accused of stomping the kid, torturing him, and burning his front private areas. She placed a lit cigarette in the boy’s ear and burned his genitals around 11 p.m. as Dominica was babysitting Kevin.
Dominica repeatedly beat the child, stomped and hit him on his torso and chest when he did not obey her, police said.
The child’s father got home from work and found the child dead at 3 a.m. The dad found Kevin cold and purple. Cops and medics were called.
Dominica initially told police she had put the boy to bed after he was sick. Police said that she later confessed to inflicting severe damage to the child.
Dominica was arrested charged with first degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated child neglect.
An autopsy revealed that Kevin suffered lacerations to his liver. He also had internal bleeding in his stomach, bruising on his torso and burns to his ear and genitals. Dominica’s public defender asked the court for a mental evaluation for her.
