Watch as 4 people were shot at a Christmas concert minutes from Charlotte. The Grinch stole the show

A quadruple shooting occurred at the Concord Christmas Tree Lighting Concert on November 21, 2025 in Concord, NC. Nasir Bostic, 18, Keyvyonn Bostic, 17, and a third unnamed teenager were arrested. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The City of Concord Tree Lighting Ceremony occurs yearly during the holiday season. While performers were on stage playing music, a shooting erupted between two suspects in the crowd during a fight.

Shots were fired and 4 people were shot. Concert goers ran and screamed during the shooting. Cops are seen clearing out the concert. The people shot were all teenagers.

With the support and information provided by the public, the Concord Police Department identified Nasir as one of the shooters, he was also shot during the shooting. He was transported to the hospital, and he remains in critical condition.

He will later be charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill and inciting a riot upon his release from the hospital.

A teen juvenile was also shot and identified as a suspect. Concord police filed petitions through the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice for the juvenile to be arrested once released from hospital.

The juvenile will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, two counts of discharging gun into an occupied property inflicting serious injury, and inciting a riot.

North Carolina juvenile privacy laws prevent disclosure of any identifying information regarding a juvenile offender.

The third suspect Keyvyonn was arrested charged as an adult, with accessory after the fact and inciting a riot. Keyvyonn was not injured and was apprehended shortly after the incident.

Two 17-year-old gunshot wound victims were also transported to the hospital. One has been released and the second remains in critical condition.

Concord Police Chief Jimmy Hughes:

“A night of celebration for our community was interrupted by senseless violence, affecting everyone who was there. Our community showed great strength and resilience as everyone came together to help one another and our officers. Due to the quick actions of our downtown businesses, the public, first responders, and law enforcement, we were able to quickly evacuate the area, prevent additional injuries, and identify all suspects involved.”
