MYERS PARK SENIOR DIES VIA SUICIDE VIA GUN SHOT

At 4 p.m. William decided to take his last breath and killed himself

William South, 17, shot himself dead at his home on November 11, 2025, he was a senior baseball player at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC. William committed suicide at his Charlotte home. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

It was 4 o’clock in the afternoon when William decided to end his own life, taking his last breath. William grabbed a gun and shot himself in the head. A female family member heard the gunshot and called police. Just last week another teen committed suicide in Charlotte.

Cops arrived on scene and found William dead with a bullet in his head area. It is unknown why William committed suicide, he was popular, athletic, well loved, and had great opportunities to go to college.

But there have been so many Myers Park students that killed themselves.
