The 4 sisters were left alone in the middle of the night when a fire broke out and killed them, now mommy is in jail
4 little sisters named Kendall, Kalani, Josie, and Sophia were killed in a blistering house fire after being left home alone over night, now their mother Reagan Noelle Powers has been arrested charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter and negligent child abuse with serious bodily injury. The mother was arrested on Sept. 10, 2025. The girls were killed on Labor Day weekend 2025 on August 30, 2025 in Columbus County, NC.

Reagan left the girls home alone at night with two 12-year-old girls. At 2:30 a.m. a fire broke out in the home. The two 12-year-old girls woke up and tried to get the younger girls out, but the fire was too hot and the smoke was too heavy. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The 12-year-old girls made it out of the house safely. However, Kendall, Kalani, Josie, and Sophia died in the house fire. The dead sisters were aged 2, 4, 6, and 7.

After an investigation the mother Reagan was arrested, she faces a maximum of 59 months for each count of involuntary manslaughter and a maximum of 88 months for each count of child abuse.

Reagan was held under a $400,000 secured bond at the Columbus County Detention Center and bonded out an hour after her arrest. There still is no word on what caused the fire. Other fire scenes can be seen here.
