At 10:32 p.m., Vidal was walking across the street when a Chevrolet Express van hit him. Vidal was knocked into the air several feet up and landed on the hard asphalt.
After a night of heavy drinking, Panther’s fan Peter Didier drove the wrong way and collided with a vehicleVidal died on scene. The van had damage to the front end. The driver of the van was not injured and was not drunk. Vidal comes from a large family, it appears he had a younger brother that graduated from UNCC.
