An employee at the luxury Fleming’s restaurant in uptown picked mushrooms up from floor, discarded without washing hands
The Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse restaurant located at 210 East Trade St. Charlotte, NC scored an 87 B on a food health inspection on June 25, 2024.

An employee touched slider buns with their bare hands. The inspector had the buns discarded.
After that, another employee picked up a mushroom from the floor with gloved hands, discarded the mushroom, and then continued to work with clean mushrooms without washing their hands. The inspector saw what occurred and made the employee wash hands.

The entire main line coolers were cold holding food at unsafe temperatures above 41F.
The mushrooms, leeks, tomato jam, cooked onions, and black garlic aioli were out of date and had to be discarded.

An employee was cutting mushrooms straight from the box without washing them. The refrigeration units had black build up.
