Tiasia Sifford, 26, died on June 23, 2024 at the Cookout restaurant on 1301 West Sugar Creek Charlotte, NC. Tiasia was found dead in her car in the parking lot. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Tiasia was with friends when she dropped dead. She was driven in a vehicle to a motel and then driven to the Cookout restaurant.
The people she was with then exited the car and left. A customer saw Tiasia in the vehicle unresponsive in the Cookout parking lot. A woman was found dead at the now demolished Economy Inn motel near West Sugar Creek in 2022.
911 was called and emergency crews tried to resuscitate Tiasia. She was put in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. Tiasia is the second female to die at a Cookout restaurant in Charlotte this year.
Tiasia was pronounced deceased. A few days prior to her death, Tiasia made a post saying, “Go play with someone who ain’t gone kill you.”
It is not clear who Tiasia was referring to or what the substance was behind the post.
