Another homicide on Memorial Day weekend
On May 24, 2025 Deeaudrey Copeland, 46, was murdered during a shooting that occurred on West Sugar Creek. The violent crime fell on Memorial Day weekend 2025 in Charlotte, NC.
Deeaudrey was at a gas station in a vehicle on West Sugar Creek. A suspect shot him, Deeaudrey was able to drive away to North Graham Street. He then died from his injuries.
No suspects are in custody.
