A homicide investigation is underway after a person was found dead on July 8, 2024 on Rea Road Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The victim was found dead in a wooded area around 7 a.m. Areas of Rea Road and Piper Glen Drive near I-485 are closed due to the investigation.
Foul play is suspected and this case is being investigated as a murder. It is not known if the victim was drugged, stabbed, shot, or strangled.
