On March 1, 2025 a victim was hit by a Lynx Light Rail train on South Blvd. Charlotte ,NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The collision was at 10:30 a.m. The victim was on the tracks when the train hit them. The victim was not killed, but was severely injured. The victim was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Traffic in the area was closed as police investigate.
A Charlotte Area Transportation System CATS representative had this to say:
“At this time, we can confirm that northbound train number 9 made contact with a person near Remount Grade Crossing.”
