Crest High School teacher Emma Costner, 25, is facing two felony charges after investigators say she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.
Emma was arrested on October 3rd and charged with two felony counts of sex act with a student. She is being held in the Cleveland County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
Investigators say the charges are the result of an investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship between Emma and a Crest High School student.
The district says Emma was hired as a math teacher on August 16, 2017 and resigned on September 25, 2018.
