DOUBLE MURDER IN WEST CHARLOTTE DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

Two people were killed in two separate homicides in Charlotte, NC on May 15, 2020.

The first murder was on Hoskins Mill Lane, Cashona Tate, 39, was found dead at the scene. There is no indication as to how she may of been murdered.

The second murder happened an hour later at about 10:30 p.m. on Viceregal Court near Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road. The victim Paul Balshem, 65, was stabbed to death and was pronounced dead on scene.
