27-year-old Lakeisha Jackson was sentenced to 18 years in prison for failing to protect her child from deadly child abuse in Rock, Hill South Carolina. Bruce Williams is the father of the child and was sentenced to 23 years in prison after pleading guilty to homicide by child abuse.
On October 1, 2020 Lakeisha pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting homicide by child abuse and two counts of child neglect and abuse.
In April 2018 her son, Miguel Williams was found dead in a Rock Hill, SC home.
The parents drank alcohol and took drugs for hours and then claimed the child drowned at a motel in a bathtub. The toddler had broken ribs, organ damage, and more than 60 other injuries. The two parents then blamed each other for the child’s injuries.
