$305,320 WORTH OF COCAINE SEIZED IN ENFORCEMENT ACTION

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Brownsville, Texas Port of Entry intercepted narcotics in a enforcement action on Nov. 30, 2020 at the Veterans International Bridge when a 27-year-old male United States citizen applied for entry into the United States driving a white 2000 Ford F-150 pick-up. 

The vehicle was referred to secondary for further examination after a primary inspection. In secondary, officers discovered 17 packages hidden within the white pick-up truck. 

Officers removed the packages, which contained a total of 39.59 pounds of cocaine. The estimated street value of the narcotics from the seizure is approximately $305,320.

The driver was arrested and his truck was seized.
