On February 26, 2021, Special Agents with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Computer Crimes Unit arrested Jason Thomas Galant, 33, in Johnston County, NC on charges of manufacturing child pornography and committing sex offenses against minor children.
This investigation was initiated after a cyber tip report was sent to the SBI by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Jason was arrested at his home in southern Johnston County and charged with seven counts of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of committing a sex offense against a child under the age of 13. Jason’s bail is a $3,050,000.00 secured bond.
