On Oct. 8, 2026 police arrested 38-year-old Ashley Armstrong, she is a teacher assistant at Metro School in Charlotte, NC. Ashley was accused of telling other teachers at the school that she would shoot them.

Ashley and other teachers got into an argument about a school protocol matter.
The words heated up and Ashley is accused of threatening to shoot staff at the school. The victims told police.
Ashley was later arrested charged with communicating threats. Metro School is located in uptown Charlotte and is a special school for students that are cognitively impaired.
CMS fired Ashley after her arrest.
