On October 10, 2026 a victim was killed in a car crash on Independence Blvd. Charlotte, NC. The collision was near the I-277 interchange. One victim died on scene. Other vehicles were involved, and there were a few injuries.
Lanes on the road were blocked for hours as the investigation was conducted.
