A shooting involving several rifles and pistols went on display shortly after 2:20 a.m. on May 17, 2021 on College Street Charlotte, NC.
Over 50 shots were fired at the direction of the Babylon Hookah Lounge. Several men were seen on video shooting shots at cars, people, and the hookah lounge. An AK-47 gun was used along with a 9 mm pistol with an extended clip, other guns were used also.
The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle. Officers arrived and located an adult male with an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital.

Officers located more than 55 rifle and pistol shell casings and discovered four vehicles and one structure had been struck by the gunfire. Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence while detectives conducted the investigation.
No suspects have been charged in the shooting.
