LA RIVIERA SCORES 89.50 B DURING FOOD HEALTH INSPECTION

On June 17, 2021 the La Riviera restaurant scored a terrible 89.50 B on a food safety inspection. The popular latino cuisine restaurant is located at 6023 Albemarle Road Charlotte, NC. 

Pans of rice had to be thrown away because of temperature violations. The sanitizer concentration at the bar dish machine had 0ppm.

There was no certified food protection manager on site during the inspection, the person in charge did not have the certification.

There was a black build-up in the ice machine. The inspector saw dirty soiled plates that were stored as clean on the plate rack. The plates had to be re-washed.

No paper towels were at the hand sink near the salsa bar. The law requires that paper towels or an approved alternative for hand drying be at each hand sink.

There were boxes of seafood on the floor inside the walk-in freezer. The inspector observed soiled dirty floors throughout the kitchen, it was in need of cleaning.

The ceiling tiles at rear prep area were peeling.

The Morazan Restaurant earned a nasty 87 B score during a food safety inspection.

The El Mariachi restaurant earned a B score of 86.50. 

The Lempira Restaurant had spoiled beef in the cooler during a inspection.
