The FBI Safe Streets Task Force have charged Mario Roane, 55, with two bank robberies. Mario was arrested on March 31, 2020.
On March 23, 2020, a male suspect entered the Wells Fargo located at 301 South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC and approached the front teller. The suspect implied he was in possession of a firearm and demanded money from the bank employee.
On March 18, 2020, a black male suspect entered the First Citizen’s Bank, located at 128 South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC and approached the front counter. The suspect then implied that he was in possession of a firearm and demanded money from the bank employee. The suspect then fled the bank on foot.
Warrants were obtained for Mario’s arrest and he was charged with two counts of Armed Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
