On Monday May 10, 2021, a woman was robbed of her purse at the Sam’s Club located at 1801 Windsor Square Dr. Matthews, NC.
The robbery was at 4:03 p.m. The female victim was walking through the Sam’s Club parking lot returning to her car after shopping.
A vehicle pulled up beside the woman. A black man then got out of the passenger side of the car and forcibly snatched the woman’s purse.
The suspect is seen of video quickly getting back into the car and leaving. The victim tried to run after the suspect vehicle, but the vehicle was able to speed off.
The victim was unable to see the driver of the car but described the passenger as a black male wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt.
No arrests have been made.
