Video of a January 26, 2022 robbery shows a suspect smashed a Kohl’s store display case and took off with $51,000 worth of jewelry. The Kohl’s is located on East Independence Blvd. Matthews, NC.
The smash and grab robbery was at 8:30 p.m. The suspect is seen taking out a hammer and smashing the glass display case with expensive jewelry in it. The thief gets the jewelry and then runs away.
The suspect drove away in a BMW vehicle.
