TWO TEENS ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGED ROBBERY SPREE

Date:

Noah Allen, 19, and Cameron Brown, 19, were arrested on October 25, 2020 after an alleged armed robbery series in Charlotte, NC.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on October 24, 2020 the suspects are accused of approaching a man on Ballantyne Country Club Drive and pointing a gun at him, trying to pull him from his vehicle. When the suspects heard a nearby witness, they allegedly pointed a firearm at the witness and then fled in a vehicle.

Less than 25 minutes later while officers were still conducting their investigation on Ballantyne Country Club Drive, additional officers responded to reports of an armed robbery on Fox Hedge Road. Officers learned the victims were exiting their vehicle when they were approached by two armed suspects.

The suspects allegedly demanded the victims’ personal property and then fled in one of the victim’s vehicles – a 2011 Porsche Cayenne.

Shortly after 11:45 p.m., officers located the stolen Porsche traveling northbound on I-77.

Officers entered into a pursuit with the Porsche after the driver refused to stop. The driver eventually slowed the vehicle and exited the vehicle with a firearm in his hand. Both suspects fled on foot into a nearby wood line but were both located and arrested. An AR-15, 9mm pistol, and drugs were seized from the suspects, officials say.

Both suspects were charged with robbery offenses.
