Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation on Princess Street Charlotte, NC. On October 28, 2020 officers responded to calls of an assault with a deadly weapon. A victim was found dead inside a house from being shot. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics.
This is the 100th homicide of the year in Charlotte and the second homicide within 24 hours.
