On March 1, 2022 a Bank of America was robbed on Beatties Ford Road Charlotte, NC. And a few days prior, a Wells Fargo bank was robbed. Khalil Prater, 26, is charged with both of the bank robberies.
The Bank of America robbery was in the afternoon. A suspect walked into the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. The money was given to the suspect. The suspect then fled.
On the same day, police arrested Khalil and charged him with common law robbery.
On February 8, 2022 a Wells Fargo bank in Charlotte was robbed. A suspect entered the bank and gave a note to a bank employee demanding money. The bank employee gave the suspect cash. The suspect then ran from the scene.
Within a few hours of the Wells Fargo robbery, Khalil was arrested and charged with common law robbery. Hence, Khalil was arrested twice in less than 1 month in connection with the Bank of America robbery and Wells Fargo robbery.
