Orlando Finley, 21, cut off his electronic ankle probation monitor and ran from authorities during his robbery trial this week.
In January 2018 Orlando robbed a Taco Bell and a Subway fast food restaurant in Charlotte, NC which he was eventually arrested for.
Orlando’s trial was this week. The jury found him guilty of one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and not guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. The jury could not reach a unanimous verdict as to the other count of robbery with a dangerous weapon, and the Judge declared a mistrial as to that count.
In the middle of his trial, Orlando cut off his electronic monitor and did not return to court. Judge Casey Viser issued an order for his arrest. Orlando will be sentenced upon his capture.
