7-ELEVEN STORE OWNER SHOT DURING ROBBERY OVERNIGHT

Date:

A 7-Eleven convenience store owner is in the hospital after exchanging gunfire with a robber on Monday morning before sunrise.

A man was killed just last month during a 7-11 robbery.

On September 9, 2019 officers were called around 3 a.m. to the 7-Eleven on the intersection of Monroe Road and North Sharon Amity Road in Charlotte, NC.

A brazen male suspect proceeded to rob the business and jump over the counter. The store owner then pulled out a gun and shot the suspect.

The suspect fired shots back which hit the owner. Blood spilled onto the floor from the bullet wounds.

The suspect ran away to a nearby parking lot, but he left a trail of blood, making it easy for a K-9 dog unit to track down the bleeding suspect. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

The store owner was also taken to the hospital.
