Fenta Gill, 34, was arrested on January 8, 2026 just two days after her birthday accused of stealing from Rack Room Shoes located at 1819 Matthews Township Pkwy Matthews, NC.
Fenta is accused of entering the Rack Room Shoes store with another woman and going straight to the kids shoes aisle. Fenta is allegedly seen grabbing 2 boxes of kid’s Timberland boots. The other woman grabs some shoes too. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The suspects are accused of walking out of the store past all points of sale without paying for the merchandise.
Fenta has a long arrest history of stealing from stores. Employees at Rack Room Shoes called police and showed them surveillance video.
Cops were already familiar with Fenta from other criminal cases, they searched her name through a crime database and DMV records.
On January 8th Fenta was arrested with a yellow weave on charged with habitual larceny and felony conspiracy. The other woman has not been arrested yet.
