Shortly after 5:20 p.m. on October 1, 2021, officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on Clydesdale Terrace. Upon arrival, officers located Markelia with an apparent gunshot wound. Markelia was pronounced deceased on scene by medic.
Jatangela Hudson, 29, was shot and killed on October 1, 2021 in Charlotte also.
