WOMAN LEAVES 9-MONTH OLD BABY IN CAR WHILE SHOPPING AT WALMART

Ariana Garza, 23, is facing a felony child endangerment charge after she allegedly left her 9-month-old baby in a hot car while she shopped at a Walmart in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Pittsburg police arrested Ariana on Sunday August 23, 2020 after Walmart employees discovered and removed the child from the car in the middle of the day. The vehicle had not been on. The baby had been in the hot car for 20 minutes, the child was rushed to a nearby hospital. The child is expected to be okay.

After Ariana came back to the vehicle, she was arrested. She posted $3,000 bail and has since been released.
