Elizabeth Washington, 41, was killed on September 23, 2023 during a roll over crash in a Jaguar vehicle on The Plaza Charlotte, NC. Santario Washington, 31, was injured in the crash and is charged with felony death by motor vehicle.
The crash occurred on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at approximately 12:59 a.m. Authorities say Santario was driving a Jaguar XJ8 vehicle at a high rate of speed with Elizabeth as the passenger.
The Jaguar then lost control and drove off the road, overturned, and landed in a creek bed.
Paramedics arrived and pronounced Elizabeth dead on scene. Santario was transported to Atrium Health Main hospital with life threatening injuries. Santario will be charged with felony death by motor vehicle and reckless driving after he is released from the hospital.
