65-year-old Barbara Walker died on July 12, 2021 after being hit by a car days earlier at apartments in Charlotte, NC. The driver of the car did not stop.
On July 5, 2021, Barbara was hit by a car on Hoskins Mill Lane at an apartment complex parking lot. The driver of the vehicle kept going.
The time of impact was around 4:15 a.m., officers responded to a reports of a pedestrian struck. Barbara was located on the pavement hurting and badly injured.
Medic treated Barbara on scene and took her to the hospital.
However, on July 12, 2021 Barbara succumbed to the injuries she sustained in the collision. Toxicology results are pending for Barbara.
