Jennifer Northrup, 44, died on March 3, 2022 after being hit by a vehicle on East W.T. Harris Boulevard Charlotte NC.
The crash was on Thursday, March 3rd at 8:22 pm. A Cadillac SUV was traveling on East W.T. Harris Blvd when the pedestrian Jennifer attempted to cross the street.
Jennifer crossed directly into the path of the Cadillac and was hit. The driver of the Cadillac brought the vehicle to a stop and immediately called 911 to report the collision. Jenifer was knocked to the ground and found unresponsive.
Paramedics responded and pronounced Jennifer deceased at 8:29 p.m. from her injuries in the collision. This area was not well lit, and Jennifer was not crossing in a marked crosswalk or intersection.
The Cadillac SUV had front end damage.
Excessive speed and impairment are not contributing factors to the driver of the Cadillac. Impairment is not suspected for Jennifer either.
