A May 2021 brutal shooting in Charlotte, NC was caught on camera. Christopher Gilmore, 20, was arrested and charged with the shooting. Although there are several other suspects that were in the car that have not been arrested.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m. on May 8, 2021, there was a shooting on Nations Drive Charlotte, NC.
A red vehicle with shiny rims pulled up to a house. Several people in the vehicle got out and fired over 50 shots at a house. Children were seen playing outside. The gunshots sent the children running for their lives.
A rifle and a pistol were used in the shooting. The vehicle made a U-turn and sped off after the shooting.
Two houses and four vehicles had been struck by gunfire from more than 50 rifle and pistol rounds. No one was injured during this incident, and the children were not physically harmed, although the mental distress will be lasting.
Christopher was identified as a suspect in this case. On May 10, 2021, Christopher was arrested and charged with felony conspiracy, two counts of discharge weapon into occupied dwelling, and four counts of injury to personal property.
There were several other suspects in the red car at the time of the shooting. But they have not been arrested yet.
