22-year-old Desean Brown is accused of murdering his girlfriend 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore and her 3-year-old son Nylo Lattimore in Cincinnati, Ohio. The boy’s father Tonio Hughes is seen on video punching Desean in court on June 23, 2022 in Cincinnati.
Tonio and Nyteisha had a child together identified as Nylo when they were a couple. They would later break up.
Nyteisha then began to date Desean. In December 2020 Desean was accused of stabbing Nyteisha to death. Desean was also accused of throwing Nylo off of a bridge into the Ohio River.
Nylo is presumed to be dead, although his body was never found. Desean was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with 2 counts of murder.
At Desean’s double murder trial in June 2022, Tonio grew enraged and ran in court to the attorney’s corner. Tonio punched the handcuffed Desean several times in the head and face.
Court police officers quickly grab Tonio and subdue him. Tonio was found to be in contempt of court by a judge and was sentenced to seven days in jail. The trial for Desean continues.
