Video shows a tattoo artist being murdered at 7-Eleven for talking to man’s girlfriend

A misunderstanding led to 24-year-old Michael Faison being shot and killed at a 7-Eleven store in Newport News, VA. Michael was a tattoo artist. 30-year-old Divine Jackson killed Michael because he thought he was trying to take his girlfriend.

In July 2022 Divine and his girlfriend stopped at a 7-Eleven store. Divine stayed in the car as his partner went inside for quick items. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

A woman went missing at a 7-Eleven gas station

As the woman exited the store, Michael was on the sidewalk and asked her if she needed a tattoo artist.  

 

The woman said yes and gave Michael her number. At this point Divine got out of the car and approached Michael, assuming Michael was trying to steal his girlfriend. 

 

Divine began yelling at Michael and slapped him in the face twice. Divine then pulled out a gun and shot Michael in the head.

Michael dropped to the ground and died instantly. Divine and his girlfriend then leave the scene. Click here to see more 7-Eleven news.

Divine was tracked down and later arrested charged with murder, his girlfriend was not charged with a crime. 

Years later a judge sentenced Divine to life in prison.
